The company

Dereli Maden supplys high-quality aggregates, particularly calcium carbonate CaCO₃ and dolomite CaMg(CO₃)₂.

The company has pioneered a circular economy model by transforming marble quarry leftovers into alternative sand and into aggregate for construction and into industrial raw material for various sectors.

Its alternative sand made of crashed marble:

  • Significantly reduces cement consumption in concrete, thus reducing carbon emission.

  • Saves huge amounts of natural sand reserves from being exploited.

  • Its high whiteness calcium carbonate raw material, after processing, is used in the paper industry and baby peds.

  • Its pure dolomite raw material is used in the glass and agriculture industry.

Circular economy & marble leftovers

Turning marble leftovers into value

In marble quarrying, only a fraction of each extracted block meets the strict aesthetic and dimensional requirements for premium decorative use. As a result, substantial amounts of material often deemed unusable are dumped in residual areas.
